Find Your External IP Address Using Google

One of the things that is fairly useful when trying to troubleshoot issues with networks, routers, VPNs, etc. is to know what your external IP Address is.

Well, those helpful folks at Google have made if very easy.  Just follow these steps:

  1. Type “google.com” in the address bar of your favorite web browser
  2. Type “ip” in the search field
  3. Click the search button or hit the [Enter] key
